hands-on assistance, volunteering, consulting, and partnering with various
non-profit organizations, aiding them in their essential roles
on the ground within local communities.

Our work is grounded in the principles of equity, community, and innovation. We

givingXchange proudly features black-led and black-founded non-profits, focusing on those organizations that have historically been underrepresented despite their significant contributions and positive impacts on communities. Our platform is dedicated to bringing these vital non-profits into the spotlight, recognizing their dedicated service work and the meaningful change they bring about.

How are non-profits selected to be featured?
We are constantly seeking out black-led and black founded non-profits to feature on the site. Have a suggested non-profit? Send your suggestion to info@givingxchange.co.

What are the criteria for a non-profits to be featured on the platform?
For a non-profit to be eligible for featuring on the givingXchange platform, it must meet specific criteria. The organization should be an incorporated non-profit or possess fiscal sponsorship, maintaining good standing with the IRS. It is essential that the founding member(s) of the organization identify as Black. In the case of collective founding, the majority should identify as Black. Additionally, the organization's mission must be focused on making a positive impact within Black communities. These criteria ensure that givingXchange highlights and supports organizations genuinely dedicated to uplifting and empowering Black communities.

Do we feature for profit organizations on the givingXchange platform?
At givingXchange.co, our mission is to foster a robust and supportive ecosystem for black-led and black-founded non-profit initiatives. To this end, we certainly do feature for-profit organizations, provided they align with our core values of support, education, and resource provision. We recognize that for-profit entities can play a pivotal role in empowering and equipping non-profits with the necessary tools and insights to thrive. By including these organizations on our platform, we aim to create a synergistic environment where knowledge, expertise, and resources are shared for the greater good of the community we serve.

Are there fees associated with a non-profit being listed on the givingXchange platform?
At givingXchange, we are committed to providing a platform that is accessible and inclusive for all black-led and black-founded non-profit organizations. In alignment with this commitment, we are pleased to announce that there are no fees for black-led and black-founded
non-profits to be listed on our platform. We believe in removing as many financial barriers as possible to ensure that every black-led and black-founded non-profit, regardless of its size or budget, has the opportunity to connect, grow, and succeed within our community. This fee-free listing approach is part of our dedication to fostering a supportive environment where non-profits can be amplified without the burden of additional costs. In the future additional services may have costs associated.
